Building AI Agents with n8n and Claude MCPs.

In this project, I explored how to design and implement lightweight AI agents by combining Claude’s multi-step calling functions (MCPs) with the visual automation platform n8n. The goal was to prototype intelligent workflows that can reason, take action, and communicate across tools, all without relying on complex backend code. This case study outlines how I approached agent logic, connected systems, and tested real-world use cases such as health coaching, task automation, and insight generation.
